I have been designing residential and commercial architecture professionally for over eight years. The majority of what I have spent my time designing has been high-end custom homes and apartments in Florida and Massachusetts. When designing a residential project, the space should reflect the people occupying the space and make their specific way of living much more appealing. You should feel both productive and at peace in your space. I'm here to help you find that balance.

Process

The new product process is simple and straightforward; discovery call, project outline call, formal commencement call. Once we move past this, the design meetings and reviews are subject to the contract overview.

Discovery Call - We go over the essentials of your project, such as goals for the residential or commercial design, project parameters like square footage, amenities, project budget, and what the project timeline looks like.

Project Outline Call - We've already gone over the essentials of your project and will figure out contracts, payments, deadlines/milestones, deliverables, intellectual property, data management, etc. before moving forward.

Formal Commencement Call - We have agreed to a project schedule and contract and this is just a formal chat before we get started incase you have any other questions or accommodation requests.

Once I start designing your product, we will have regular communication via private Discord server and regularly scheduled milestone meetings that will be in the form of a Zoom call. If you have any preferred specific communication methods, we can discuss them during the Project Outline Call.

*If you only have a floorplan that needs to be designed as a 2D CAD drawing or 3D modeled in a specific software, we can discuss hourly rates. This service is meant for project support on continuously active projects.

FAQs

Do you provide construction documents, or do you focus solely on design?
Mainly focusing on the design aspect of your project, I do collaborate with an advanced drafting specialist that creates your construction documents, should you require the additional hourly service. This partnership ensures that you receive detailed and accurate plans that align with the design vision created, facilitating a smooth transition from concept to construction.
How do you ensure that the design meets building codes and regulations?
Having experience and extensive knowledge of local building codes and regulations helps move the project along accordingly. I conduct thorough research and work closely with regulatory authorities to ensure that all designs comply with the necessary standards. I'm also cognizant about any changes in regulations to ensure your project remains compliant during both the design and construction phases.
What happens if I want to make changes after the design is completed?
It's completely understandable that changes may be needed even after the design is finalized. I offer support for revisions and updates to ensure the design continues to meet your needs, working with you to assess the changes and incorporate them into the design as smoothly as possible. For more information, a general revision clause is included in your contract.

Architecture - Floor Plan and 3D Model (Design Only)
Developing detailed floor plans for single or multi-level spaces based on site surveys, aesthetic preferences, and budgetary guidelines. Additionally, I create a minimalistic 3D model of your home to help you visualize the spatial layout and functionality. This service includes two minor design revisions to ensure the plan meets your expectations.
Interior Design - Amenities and Furniture (Design Only)
Curating and recommending appliances, amenities, and furniture that suit the specific needs of your space. I conduct thorough research to find collections that align with your aesthetic and functional requirements. For custom-designed amenities, I'll collaborate with subcontractors to bring unique elements to life, based on the project's complexity.
Landscape Design - Outdoor Amenities (Design Only)
Crafting a comprehensive landscape design for your property, focusing on the strategic placement of greenery and outdoor features like pools, spas, bar areas, outdoor living spaces, and boat docks. I also plan exterior lighting and electrical systems, including surveillance and audio equipment, to enhance both functionality and ambiance.
Marketing - Real Estate Marketing Deliverables (Added Optional Service)
Creating 3D floor plans and rendered images for multi-family buildings or single-family homes to enhance online marketing efforts. We also design detailed flyers for open houses and provide consulting services for residential renovations aimed at increasing sale or rental value.
Project Management - Construction Coordination and Oversight (Optional Service)
Offering comprehensive project management services to ensure seamless coordination and execution of construction projects. I'll oversee timelines, budgets, and contractor coordination, ensuring that each phase of construction aligns with the design vision and client expectations. The hands-on approach facilitates effective communication and problem-solving throughout the project lifecycle.
