Maybe you read my product design services as well, but what you might miss over there are deadlines, stick to the budget and shorten the time to market, making sure all parties are lined up properly (especially with multiple manufacturers).

As a project manager (Prince II qualified) I like to work with the Prince II project management method. It is an international project management standard and works with creating multiple phases for each project. Each phase has an start and an end, and the possibility to manage the project per phase. At the start we will plan the complete project and create the phases that are needed. As a project manager I will make a planning together with the team, make sure they can handle the workload and make it final with you, to make sure everything is done for the planned launch.

Prince II projects work especially well with projects for teams starting form 5-6 people. For smaller projects Prince II is a prefect source of inspiration to manage the project lean.

(In smaller projects I can also act as participant of the design/engineering team, in projects larger than 5 teammates I will solely act as a project manager)
