As a project manager I love to use Notion (notion.so), you can build database from scratch and you can build it as you go, you don't need to set up the whole system for it to work. As Notions grows as well, there are continuous new features that can benefit you as a project manager/project engineer.

I use Notion as project manager, but also as engineer. I like to keep list to keep track of al parts that needs to be designed or keep track of each phase of the project.
