FAQs
Do you offer payment plans?
Most projects are divided into two payments: a 50% deposit and 50% final payment - for flat fee projects, Contra will ask you (the client) the full payment and only release the 50% deposit to be released to me immediately and the other 50% is on hold until the project is complete. Learn more about Contra for Clients here! On larger projects, we can set milestones for payments. Contra is 100% commission-free! However, Clients will be charged a Stripe processing fee for each payment. Credit card information is never stored on Contra as we manage payments through Stripe.
How long does it take to complete a project?
For a logo project, it usually takes me 2-3 weeks, and up to 2 months for a standard brand identity package with additional collateral. We will conduct regular pulse checks to keep track of the timeline of our project.
How will we communicate?
We’ll start off with Google Meet video meetings to discuss your project and present the first round of concepts. For shorter communications, we’ll use email or I’ll send you a short recorded video.
We don't live in the same city. Can we still work together?
98% of my clients are not local, so I manage projects long distance using live and pre-recorded video.
We need a website. Can you create a website for us?
Yep! I offer website design currently for a limited amount of slots. I currently use Shopify and Wix. Webflow is in my to-do list to learn more about!
Do you do copywriting?
No, but I can do what I can with the help of ChatGPT and other AI tools. I highly recommend hiring a copywriter for heavy copy work.
If I have my logo designed by someone else, can you help with other designs?
Certainly! In fact, clients Kind Bomb and Stardust had their logos created by a different designer, but they reached out to me for additional graphic support.
What's included
Discovery Consultation
An important first step to our project! Let's have a quick chat so we can meet each other and learn about each other a bit more. We'll nail down your goals, how to achieve said goals, and your brand strategy.
Brand Strategy
Having a solid brand strategy is crucial because it provides direction and clarity to the brand's actions and decisions. Without a clear strategy, a brand risks being inconsistent, confusing, and forgettable to its audience. By taking the time to develop a brand strategy, a brand can build a strong and memorable brand identity that resonates with its audience and sets it apart from its competitors.
Primary Logo
An essential to any business.
Secondary Logo
Excellent to have different variations of your primary logo.
Alternative Logo
Another variation of your logo. It's always best to have different variations of your logo that can be used in different places while still creating a recognizable brand!
Submark Logo
A submark logo is a smaller, simplified version of a primary logo that can be used in situations where the primary logo may not fit or be appropriate. It typically contains a simplified graphic or icon that represents the brand in a recognizable way.
Typography Pairing
Typography pairing can't just be random picks - it's strategically selected to match your brand visuals. This will be a pair of two typefaces.
Color Palette
The whole feel, aesthetic, and mood of your brand can easily be represented by colors alone. A curated color palette that exudes your brand will be created for you! Typically, we curate between 3-5 colors, but no more than 7.
Brand Mood Board
The visual representation of the feel, aesthetic, and mood of your brand.
Two (2) Brand Patterns
A brand pattern can be essential to a business because it helps reinforce brand recognition and identity across all touchpoints. By incorporating a unique and recognizable pattern into branding materials, businesses can create a strong visual connection with their audience and differentiate themselves from competitors.
Six (6) Custom Icons
Custom brand icons are unique and original graphic elements designed specifically to represent a brand or company.
Two (2) Business Card Design on Canva
Having a killer business card design can help your brand stand out from the crowd and be remembered long after you've parted ways with someone. It's like leaving a little piece of your brand behind that people can keep in their pocket or wallet and pull out whenever they need your services or products. This is designed on Canva so you will have an editable version to update at your convenience!
Five (5) Canva Social Media Post Templates
Social media templates can be useful for a brand because they provide a consistent and professional look and feel across all social media platforms, saving time and effort in creating new content. They also allow for easy customization and branding, ensuring that the brand's message is clear and cohesive.
3 Revisions
I aim for one and done, but we all know that it can't always be like that.
Brand Style Guide (a/k/a Brand Guidelines)
A brand style guide is a document that outlines the guidelines and specifications for a brand's visual identity, including its logo, typography, color palette, and other design elements. It serves as a reference for anyone creating branded materials, ensuring consistency and coherence across all marketing and communication channels.
