A recurring process should not depend on one person remembering how it works. I turn one existing workflow into a clear process map, usable SOP and control-ready handoff pack so the work is easier to repeat, delegate, onboard and review.
Best fit: owner-led businesses, operations teams and growing service teams that broadly know how a workflow should work but need it documented clearly enough for another person to follow without relying on tribal knowledge.
This is deliberately different from my Operations Bottleneck Diagnostic. Use this Sprint when the workflow is broadly understood and the main need is documentation and standardisation. If the real question is why the workflow is breaking, where the bottleneck is, or what should be redesigned, the Diagnostic is the better fit.
How it works: you answer three focused written questions and share up to three safe, redacted evidence items such as an existing note, screenshot, checklist, form, export or example. I document the work as it is actually performed — purpose, trigger, inputs and outputs, roles, systems, handoffs, decisions, controls, exceptions and records — rather than writing an idealised procedure that no one uses.
The documentation is graded to the workflow’s complexity and criticality. The goal is enough structure to make the work repeatable and reviewable without producing a heavyweight manual for a simple process.
You receive an end-to-end process map, a ready-to-use SOP, an ownership and control matrix, an exception/escalation guide, and an adoption/revision checklist. The SOP includes purpose, scope, trigger, prerequisites, responsibilities, step-by-step work, decision points, evidence/records, exceptions, escalation and revision triggers where supported by the evidence.
Scope is intentionally narrow: one workflow, up to three systems or tools, up to ten main workflow steps, up to five recurring exception types and up to three safe supporting evidence items. Delivery is asynchronous; no call, meeting or live client-system access is required.
This service documents and standardises an existing workflow. It does not provide legal, regulatory or professional compliance certification; does not create a nuclear/aviation/medical safety procedure; does not redesign an organisation-wide operating model; and does not include software configuration, automation implementation or change-management delivery. If a required instruction is not supported by the evidence, I flag the gap rather than inventing it.
Do not send passwords, credentials, payment-card information, special-category personal data, or unnecessary customer or employee personal information. One factual correction round is included.
