Showplace is a design and furnishing service for short-term rental hosts. The iOS app I designed was part of their broader product suite, built to support a two-sided marketplace connecting brands with hosts for product placement campaigns.
I was the sole designer on the app end to end, across both the brand and host experiences: multi-step campaign flows, a review and status system, and the marketing web surface. There was no existing product, no design system, and no prior research to start from.
The core challenge was building for two audiences with completely different mental models inside one app, on a small screen, with a human review step sitting in the middle of every transaction. Brands needed to complete campaign setups without dropping off. Hosts needed to understand where their application stood at every point.
The video shows the product image upload inside the brand campaign flow, a moment that's easy to underestimate on mobile. I gave it a dedicated empty state, immediate visual feedback as images were added, and a transition that confirms the upload landed. It's a small interaction, but in a long multi-step flow it's exactly the kind of thing that makes the difference between a user who trusts the product and one who bails.
