Self-initiated, AI-assisted implementation study. COVA CACAO is a fictional brand; the opening image shows the shared COVA website design. This case focuses on its WordPress implementation, rather than a client commission.

The brief Turn the cocoa ingredient website concept into an installable WordPress theme while retaining the image-led design and interactive catalogue.

What I built An installable theme ZIP with nine WordPress Customizer fields for key copy and contact-link settings. The frontend includes a hero slider, ingredient details, application tabs, ingredient filtering, a mobile menu and a browser-local sample-brief generator. Theme source and setup instructions are included.

What I verified Installed and activated locally in WordPress Playground (WordPress 7.1 / PHP 8.5.10). Edited, published, re-opened and restored the Customizer fields. Checked slider controls, product details, filter reset and empty results, mobile navigation, and brief copy/clear. No horizontal overflow in the tested 320, 390, 768 and 1280 viewport settings.

Scope and limits Only the nine documented fields are editable in the theme UI; other catalogue content remains in source. Local Chromium/Playground testing is not a production-hosting or cross-browser certification. No real inquiry backend, email sending, checkout or payment integration is included. Imagery was AI-generated for this fictional concept. No client results or revenue are claimed.
