Multicrew – Logo & Visual Identity Design
I was working on a logo and visual identity system for Multicrew, a brand concept focused on teamwork, structure, and collaboration. The main idea behind the project was to visually translate how individuals come together as a unified system and operate in sync.
Instead of using literal human illustrations or complex symbols, I focused on creating a clean abstract identity that communicates cooperation through geometry, spacing, and repetition. The goal was to keep it simple but meaningful, where the structure itself becomes the story.

✨ Project Overview

Multicrew was designed as a modern identity system built around the idea of coordinated teams working together like a single unit.
I designed a logo system that uses basic geometric shapes like circles and triangles to represent individuals. When arranged in a structured grid, these shapes form a unified composition that symbolizes teamwork, alignment, and collaboration.
The brand was positioned to feel modern, slightly tech-driven, and highly structured. I kept the visual language minimal so it could easily scale across digital platforms, mobile interfaces, and physical branding applications.
The overall idea was to create something that feels organized and intelligent without being visually heavy or overdesigned.

🎯 Problem

The main challenge was representing collaboration in a way that feels modern and universal without relying on clichés like handshake icons or literal group illustrations.
I needed to solve a few key things:
• How to represent teamwork in a simple abstract form • How to keep the logo visually strong even at very small sizes • How to build a system that feels structured but still human • How to make it flexible for digital and physical use cases • How to ensure the identity feels modern and tech-friendly
A lot of collaboration-based brands tend to look either too generic or too complex. I wanted Multicrew to sit somewhere in between — clean, structured, and meaningful without overexplaining itself visually.

💡 My Approach / Solution

I started the project by thinking about what “working together” actually looks like in a visual sense. That led me to the idea of repetition, alignment, and controlled variation.
Instead of designing a traditional logo mark, I built a modular system using simple shapes. Circles represented individuals, and triangles added direction and movement. When placed in a grid, these elements naturally formed a sense of unity.
I also explored spacing and rhythm quite deeply. The consistency between elements was important because it reinforced the idea of synchronization and teamwork.
The color direction was chosen to support the identity’s modern and tech-driven feel. I used a deep teal as the base tone to represent stability and structure, paired with a vibrant mint accent to bring freshness and energy into the system.
The contrast between these two colors helped the identity feel both professional and approachable.
Throughout the process, I kept asking myself whether the system would still work if removed from context — especially at small sizes or in simplified environments like app icons or social media avatars.

🛠️ Process

Here’s how I approached the project step by step:
• Understanding the concept of collaboration and structured teamwork • Researching abstract identity systems and geometric logo design • Exploring shape combinations using circles and triangles • Testing different grid-based compositions for balance and rhythm • Refining the logo system for scalability and clarity • Developing the color palette based on contrast and usability • Creating variations for digital and physical applications • Testing how the identity performs at small and large scales • Finalizing a flexible visual system for brand use

Tools I Used

• Figma • Adobe Illustrator • Adobe Photoshop • Grid system and layout tools • Basic motion/preview tools for testing scalability

🎨 Final Output

The final result was a clean and structured visual identity system that clearly communicates collaboration through geometry and composition.
The logo system works as both a standalone mark and a flexible modular identity that can expand into different layouts and brand applications.
One of the strongest aspects of this project was its scalability. The geometric structure holds up well in small sizes, making it suitable for mobile interfaces, UI elements, and branded merchandise.

🚀 Results / Impact

Even though this concept was not selected as the final direction, it became a strong exploration of system-based logo design and how simple shapes can carry meaning when used intentionally.
The project helped demonstrate:
• Improved clarity in abstract brand storytelling • Stronger understanding of modular identity systems • Better scalability across digital and physical platforms • Increased flexibility in logo system thinking • More refined approach to minimal geometric branding
It also showed how structure itself can become a visual language when used consistently.

🙌 Closing

This project was a great reminder that sometimes the simplest forms carry the strongest ideas when placed in the right system.
I really enjoyed working on Multicrew because it pushed me to think beyond traditional logo design and focus more on structure, rhythm, and meaning.
Even as an unused direction, it still feels like a solid and scalable identity system that could work in many real-world applications.
