Superhuman Flow - Offline-First Productivity PWA

A free, offline-first Pomodoro and focus suite with no ads, no account required. Live product with a real and growing user base. Installable as a PWA on any device with full local sync and a complete feature set that matches paid productivity apps.

The Problem

Existing productivity apps are cluttered, ad-filled, or locked behind subscriptions. No free tool offers premium-tier features without requiring an account. Users want focus tooling that works offline on any device without compromising on quality.

What I Built

A Progressive Web App that installs to the home screen and works completely offline. Customizable Pomodoro timer with multiple session types, built-in task and project management, an ambient sounds mixer with 16+ sounds, and YouTube music integration. All data stays local - no server, no account, no tracking.
The achievement and streak system keeps users engaged over time. A full statistics dashboard with activity timelines and weekly insights helps users understand their focus patterns. 20+ keyboard shortcuts for power users. 10+ theme backgrounds including gradients and images.

Key Learnings

A zero-backend architecture with Service Workers is a genuine product advantage - no infra costs, no downtime, instant load.
Users engage more consistently when progress (streaks, achievements) is visible and local - no login friction means higher daily return rate.
Shipping a real product teaches you more about scope control and prioritisation than any showcase build.

Tech Stack
