Abatable help companies navigate the complexity of the voluntary carbon markets and build a credible and rigorous path to net zero. Voluntary carbon offsetting is a critical part of a net zero plan, but getting offsetting wrong is a reputational liability.Abatable wanted to create a brand that (without green-washing) gave the sense of positivity in climate change. The logo is a folded ribbon that mimics the letter Z for ‘zero’ (net zero) whilst holding a hexagon shape which is the crystal structure of carbon.The second brief was to build a product that would calculate their clients business’ carbon footprints and assign a portfolio of projects to offset that carbon. Iterations of wireframes and userflows developed a refined webapp that also allowed the client to manage and monitor their projects.
