A wireless earbuds product was ready to launch on Amazon but needed a listing that could compete in one of the platform's most saturated categories. The product had strong features but no copy to communicate them to buyers scanning search results.
My Approach
I started with keyword research using Amazon's A9 algorithm as the framework. I identified high-volume search terms buyers actually use when shopping for wireless earbuds: "Bluetooth earbuds," "noise cancelling," "long battery life," and category-specific long-tail phrases.
From there, I built every element of the listing:
SEO Title: Front-loaded with the highest-volume keyword, followed by key features and the brand name. Structured to rank in Amazon search while still reading naturally to shoppers.
Bullet Points: Five benefit-driven bullets, each leading with a customer outcome (not a spec). Battery life, sound quality, comfort, water resistance, and compatibility were all framed around what the buyer gains.
Product Description: A longer-form section reinforcing the value proposition, addressing common objections (fit, durability, pairing issues), and closing with a clear reason to buy now.
Backend Keywords: Filled with alternate spellings, related terms, and Spanish-language keywords to capture additional search traffic without cluttering the visible listing.
The Result
A complete, publish-ready Amazon listing built to rank in search and convert browsers into buyers. Every word was chosen based on what actual earbuds shoppers search for and care about. This listing was part of a product I sold worldwide on Amazon.
