Studio X Men’s Shampoo TVC — VFX, 3D Tracking & Compositing

Studio X Men’s Shampoo is a premium men’s grooming brand known for its bold and confident visual identity. For this TV commercial, I worked as part of the VFX and post-production team, handling rotoscoping, 3D tracking, 3D integration, and compositing. My goal was to enhance the visuals with dynamic effects and realistic 3D elements that matched the brand’s energetic and masculine tone.

The aim was to deliver a cinematic and high-impact commercial that reflects Studio X’s bold and confident essence. My responsibility was to seamlessly blend 3D elements into live-action shots, ensuring every frame felt powerful, dynamic, and natural.

The biggest challenge was maintaining realism and visual depth while integrating 3D elements into fast-paced live-action scenes. Each shot required:

Accurate 3D camera tracking for complex movements

Clean rotoscoping to separate foreground elements

Consistent lighting and perspective across multiple shots

Achieving seamless compositing under these conditions demanded high precision and attention to detail.

I followed a structured VFX workflow:

3D Camera Tracking: Matched live footage movements using precise motion tracking.

Rot oscoping & Masking: Separated subjects for clean CG integration.

3D Integration: Placed digital assets with realistic lighting and reflections.

Compositing & Grading: Applied motion blur, depth, and color correction for final cinematic output.

The final commercial delivered a powerful, realistic, and visually striking result that perfectly represented Studio X’s bold brand identity. It elevated the TVC’s energy and production value, creating a polished, high-impact visual experience.
