Custom ERP for Made-to-Measure Footwear

A made-to-measure footwear manufacturer needed to connect customer measurements, design files, production and shipping. Each order carried its own photos and manufacturing assets, making generic order-management workflows a poor fit.

My contribution I helped develop a custom ERP system around the company’s actual production process. The work covered order management, status tracking, storage of customer-specific design and manufacturing files, and automation of the steps connecting them.

Architecture priorities The system needed to preserve the relationship between each order and its unique files, make the current production status visible, and allow new workflow features as the business developed. We designed the software around those needs rather than forcing the process into a generic template.

Delivered capability The implemented system gave the company a tailored way to manage orders and their supporting files across the manufacturing journey. It supported automated workflows and order-status updates, with a foundation for further features.
