Rapid Workday Deployment

Responsible for day-to-day project management operations in a large multifaceted IT organization with emphasis on short-term software development projects from concept to delivery and launch. Accountabilities encompass creating and managing detailed project plans, assigning and scheduling resources, and risk management, as well as managing SDLC deliverables within the constraints of time, scope, budget, quality and stakeholder satisfaction. Report directly to the Chief Technology Officer.

Key Project Initiatives

➢ Deploy COVID-19 testing locations with 48 hours’ notice.

➢ Serve as the primary lead in creating, maintaining, and directing the development, upkeep, and configuration of the company’s various Workday products and modules (including Financial Management, Expenses, HCM, etc.).

➢ Institute issue resolution, planning and guidance for Workday enhancements and improvements

➢ Serve as a key decision authority for Workday utilization, optimization, integrations, and future product deployments.

➢ Lead multiple concurrent large, complex Workday solutions, deployments, and projects for global employee users.

➢ Design, configure, test, and implement business requirements across the company’s multiple Workday HCM modules/products.

➢ Manage day-to-day operations of project and scope of work for system improvements, updates, and business process initiatives.

➢ Assist with implementations including scoping projects, acquisition discovery, adoption, and estimating.

➢ Audit, review, maintain, and configure security in Workday across all roles and modules. Implement best practices in alignment with regulatory, company and department policy.

➢ Prepare scopes of work, project delivery resource requirements, cost and budget estimates, work plan schedules and milestones, quality metrics, risk identification, and communication needs.
