What is this?? Recipai is your new best friend in the kitchen! This AI-powered recipe app takes whatever ingredients you have and turns them into personalized meal ideas. Think dietary filters, step-by-step cooking instructions, and even a shopping list to make meal prep a breeze!

And why was I hired? UI/UX Designer (I was the sole designer on this project)

Designed a clean, intuitive user interface that makes cooking (and navigating the app) super easy.

Streamlined the user journey from onboarding to picking the perfect recipe—no hassle, just good food!

Crafted interactive elements like a text carousel and smooth progress indicators to keep things interesting.

Figma for wireframes and mockups (because what’s better than a good design blueprint?)

Research: First, I dove into competitor apps to understand what worked and what didn’t. I wanted to make sure Recipai stood out with something special.

Moodboard: After gathering inspiration, I created a moodboard to nail the vibe of the app. This helped me visualize the overall feel and set the tone for the design.

Color & Font Selection: I was hands-on in finalizing the colors and fonts. After some back-and-forth, we decided on a bright and energetic palette of oranges and yellows to make the app feel warm and inviting.

Wireframing: Once the look was defined, I created wireframes to map out the structure and flow of the app. This laid the foundation for everything to come.

Mockups: Finally, I brought everything together in the mockups, where the design really started to shine with clean, user-friendly screens ready for development.

The Outcome: The final design was a user-friendly gem, keeping everything accessible and easy to use. By minimizing unnecessary screen transitions and focusing on core functionality, I ensured that users could cook up a storm without any techy distractions!
