📍 Summary

I took charge of this project aimed at fixing a major flaw on the website: the lack of a proper search function. By introducing a new and improved search feature, I aimed to make it easier for users to find what they need, ultimately enhancing their experience and increasing the likelihood of them making purchases and engaging further with the brand. This initiative aligned with the business's goal of providing a seamless website experience for customers while also boosting business outcomes, such as conversion rates and customer satisfaction.

Discovery

Before I began anything, it was necessary for me to get a clear idea of what their target audience was like, and what their mental model would look like. Upon doing my research I was able to gather customer insights that will then influence my design decisions.

Define

To clearly define my goals for the search function, I came up with a Problem Statement based on the synthesized information during my discovery phase.

Wireframes

Guided by the insights gained from our empathy map and insights, I went on to create wireframes and a design that addresses our users needs and frustrations.
As we explore the wireframes, we'll witness how the design solution aims to alleviate their pain points. The new search function was made to ensure an intuitive and user-friendly search experience, one that removes barriers and empowers them on their spiritual journey.
