Healthcare Mobile App

John Tseng

I owned the product strategy, roadmap, and go-to-market launch for a consumer clinical health portal. Ultimately, the goal was to (1) increase patient adoption and (2) maintain high user retention for the solution.
To achieve success, we knew the solution had to be intuitively designed (nearly all users were not in the high-technology adoption demographic), provide real value (cost savings or time savings), and rewarding (e.g., showing and celebrating progress).
The portal was made available nation-wide across 2,000+ clinics. Major patient features included:
Ability to view and track lab results, and set goals
Ability to view treatment data and leave notes
Ability to capture or input treatment data (manually or IoT with certain machines)
Ability to view Rx and order medications to the home
Shipment tracking of medications
Caregiver authorization / access
Ability to upload documents / images
Authentication via biometrics
