Brand Description

Dimple is a company that produces state of the art volleyball equipment. They pride themselves in their high quality. Their target audience is college students. They want to convey a sense of victory. While at the same time being realistic.



Job Description

I had to create a logo for the brand Dimple using the information given. The company would prefer a word mark that uses the color purple. The logo will be printed on the side of vehicles, sportswear, bottles and containers. Take into account the company's values and preferences, and make sure it will work for the planned uses-cases.

Project Role

As the graphic and brand designer for the "Dimple" project, I led the visual direction of the brand. This included creating the brand's visual identity, such as the logo, typography, color palette, and graphic elements. I was also responsible for designing the brand's marketing materials, such as the website, social media profiles, packaging, and advertising campaigns. Additionally, I worked closely with the product development team to ensure that the visual design of the sport kits and jerseys aligned with the overall brand aesthetic.

I also researched and stayed current with industry trends in graphic design, brand development, and marketing strategies. I communicated with the stakeholders and clients to ensure that the final product met their expectations and was aligned with the project's goals.

Through my efforts, I successfully created a strong visual identity for the "Dimple" brand that helped it stand out in the competitive volleyball market and appeal to its target audience. The project is now completed and successfully launched.



Challenges

One of the main challenges faced during the "Dimple" project was creating a visual identity that would appeal to the target audience of volleyball players while also standing out in the competitive market. To overcome this challenge, I conducted extensive research on industry trends and the preferences of the target audience, and I also worked closely with the product development team to ensure that the visual design of the sport kits and jerseys aligned with the overall brand aesthetic.

Another challenge was to balance the client's expectations and feedback while keeping the overall project goals in mind. To overcome this, I made sure to effectively communicate with the stakeholders and clients throughout the project, and I was able to incorporate their feedback while also ensuring that the final product met the project's goals.

Accomplishment

One of the major accomplishments of this project was the successful launch of the brand and the positive response from the target audience. The sleek and modern visual identity, paired with the high-quality sport kits and jerseys helped the brand to establish a strong presence in the market. Additionally, the website and social media profiles were designed in a way that effectively communicated the brand's message and aesthetic, which helped to increase brand awareness and engagement. Overall, the project was a success in creating a strong visual identity for the "Dimple" brand that appeals to its target audience and stands out in the competitive market.
