Web3 EdTech | Series A | Raised $3m
I worked with Hexia in their time of need, with runway reducing rapidly they were struggling to engage venture capital investors. Web3 investors felt it wasn't sufficiently correlated to Web3 to fit their fund and EdTech investors felt it was too geared towards Web3 to fit their thesis.
I worked with them to distill how the product not only crosses both worlds, but actually sits within white space in both EdTech & Web3 and it was an infrastructure play, which I knew would excite both types of investors.
We focussed on highlighting the problem and really highlighting how well through-through the product was is tackling these issues head-on. The integration of AI into the product was also impressive and a real accelerant to the business over the next 12 months which we focussed on.
We elevated the design significantly too, which simplified the deck, highlighted the product and gave investors a platform to view the potential for the product.
In returning to market, the founders were shocked at the reception and even had previous investors that had passed take another look and go in to further due diligence. A highly successful project where having investor insight gave them the edge to get the funding they deserved. I look forward to working with them on their Series B round.
