Larian Studios – Holiday Campaign Pitch Deck

Project Overview

This is a holiday campaign concept I built for Larian Studios. It is a narrative-driven marketing strategy that celebrates their RPG legacy while building hype for the reveal of their next game through phased community events, storytelling, and fan engagement.

Objectives

Build a storytelling framework for the brand.
Create a holiday content calendar (Dec 2025).
Deliver a 10-minute pitch presentation with a slide deck.
Show strategic thinking (audience, pillars, channels, metrics).
Practice turning strategy into narrative that engages and inspires.

Role & Responsibilities

Content Calendar Creation: Planned and structured a one-month holiday campaign schedule aligned with strategic goals.
Creative Development: Designed pitch deck slides, narrative flow, and campaign assets to support storytelling.
Executive Pitch Delivery: Presented the campaign in a 10-minute client-style pitch with persuasive storytelling.
Strategic Planning & Analysis: Defined audience insights, content pillars, channel strategy, and success metrics.
End-to-End Execution: Managed all phases independently, from ideation to presentation.

Outcome

The campaign successfully demonstrated how a narrative-driven strategy can engage audiences and sustain momentum beyond the holiday season. By blending storytelling with clear content pillars and channel tactics, the project attracted new players, reignited fan passion, and showcased the brand's community-first ethos. The phased rollout built anticipation toward the Christmas reveal, while post-holiday content ensured continued engagement and reflection into the new year.

Work Process

1. The Call to Belief

I opened with a narrative hook — positioning the holiday season as a time of magic, generosity, and wonder. I framed Larian Studios as the torchbearer of storytelling magic.

2. Psychographics & Demographics

I defined the audience profile: RPG players seeking immersion, nostalgia, and authentic community connection. Ages 18–45, Gen Z & Millennials, global.

3. Audience Insight

I identified the core tension: players crave meaningful experiences, but holiday campaigns often feel shallow and commercialized. I positioned Larian as the outlier.

4. Strategic Big Idea

I articulated the central concept: "Give players the ultimate RPG gift — not just a game, but a belief."

5. Content Pillars

I built six pillars of storytelling and engagement: Legacy, Freedom of Choice, Discovery, Being the Outlier, Joy of Giving, Community, and Conversion.

6. Channel Strategy

I mapped each content pillar to the right channels (Instagram, Twitch, Discord, YouTube, Email).

7. KPIs & Metrics

I defined success measures: reach, engagement, conversion, retention, and community growth.

8. Vision of the Future

I closed with a forward-looking vision: Larian as the last bastion of wonder in gaming, building timeless myths and communities that endure beyond the holiday season.
My process: Set the emotional hook → Define the audience → Identify the tension → Present the big idea → Build content pillars → Map channels → Define KPIs → End with vision.
