Custom LMS Course Development without LMS Plugin
Developed a custom Learning Management System (LMS) within WordPress using the Divi Theme and MemberPress, without relying on any LMS plugin.
Key Highlights:
Custom Layouts: Designed unique layouts for the member’s dashboard and lesson pages to enhance user experience.
Partial Lesson Previews: Implemented partial previews for the first two lessons of each module using custom JavaScript and CSS.
Dynamic Lesson Styling: Applied custom styling to the currently playing lesson item using CSS, jQuery, JavaScript, and Divi’s custom classes and ID system.
Real-Time Note-Taking: Developed a custom note-taking box on each lesson page with real-time note-saving functionality, utilizing PHP, HTML, CSS, jQuery, and AJAX.
Resume Functionality: Added custom resume functionality that allows users to continue from where they left off when they log back in.
Outcome:
Delivered a fully customized, plugin-free LMS that provides a seamless and interactive learning experience.
