In June 2024, I participated in a design competition for the maintenance of civil peace and social harmony in St. Petersburg. I took the first place in the nomination "Diversity of cultures".

It was required to create a poster that would reveal a positive attitude towards representatives of all ethnic and religious groups living in St. Petersburg, succinctly and figuratively conveying the ideas of enlightened humanism, in specific artistic images broadcasting humanitarian values common to representatives of different cultures and faiths.

First, I researched which ethnic groups live in St. Petersburg. Having found out this, I made a list where a folk musical instrument stood in front of each nationality. Then, I found image of each musical instrument and using photos as a reference I made 3d models in the Blender 3d program. Finished with the models I began to place them on the sheet lokking for the composition I needed. At the same time I found an ornaments for each nationality and made them in a vector in the Adobe Illustrator program. Also I converted the 3d models into a vector, giving them a more planar appearance. Finally, it remained for me to combine the composition, the models, the ornaments, the Tchaikovsky quote - and the poster was made :)
