What I did:
Designed the driver experience and mobile UI in Figma, focusing on efficient workflows for drivers in the field.
Developed the application using FlutterFlow, Flutter, and custom Dart code.
Built vehicle check-in and daily load management functionality for drivers.
Integrated destination details, optimized routes, and multiple drop-off points into daily delivery workflows.
Implemented vehicle and load inspection workflows for operational and compliance requirements.
Added digital signatures and proof-of-delivery functionality for completed deliveries.
Engineered persistent background location tracking, including when the application was not actively open.
Developed functionality to support drivers operating with limited or unavailable mobile connectivity.
Integrated the app with Transnova’s existing load management platform for synchronized logistics data.
Continued to maintain, optimize, and enhance the application over several years following its initial launch.
