Overview 🔎

The Florida-based local dentist project was given to me in March at my full-time position as an SEO executive at Maskoid Technologies. The project's SEO objective was to increase organic traffic and generate more leads.

Problem & Solution 🤝

When the project came to our company, it had an inadequate website layout and lacked proper service pages and blogs. Therefore, a complete reboot was necessary.

Process 🛣

The website redesign took approximately one month to complete. During this time, we engaged in two or three one-on-one conversations with clients to better understand the niche, the types of services they offer, and prioritize their needs.
While the website was being redesigned, the PPC work was put on hold. Meanwhile, I began conducting keyword research for the blogs. As per the project scope, my responsibilities included:
Shortlisting head terms and LSI keywords for the service pages.
Creating content briefs for writers to ensure the content was ready before the new website design went live.
Conducting monthly keyword research for three blog keywords.
Once the website went live, here's what I did:
First, I published all the service page content and initiated the indexing process with the assistance of Google Search Console.
Next, I published blog content on a weekly basis.
I conducted an SEO audit using tools like Screaming Frog SEO Spider, PageSpeed Insights, and Ubersuggest.
I addressed basic technical SEO aspects such as the sitemap and robots.txt.
To improve page speed by removing unnecessary code caused by WordPress plugins, I installed the Asset Cleaner plugin.
I built the following types of links:
Additionally, I acquired a high-quality link through guest posting, which cost $60 but showed incredible long-term results.
To track user behavior, I installed Hotjar on the website. By combining the data from Google Search Console and Hotjar, I implemented forms below the three blog posts that generated the highest amount of traffic. This experiment resulted in an average of two daily form fill-ups, with a service value averaging $2000.

Results

The efforts resulted in massive growth within six months. The average daily click count increased from 30 to 150, and impressions skyrocketed from 2,000 to 10,000 per day.

Takeaways 📣

Taking a pre-outline approach helps in staying organized. Although there were minor adjustments due to Google Algorithm Updates, as long as you avoid black hat SEO practices and adhere to Google guidelines, there is nothing to worry about.
Investing time in fixing old content is valuable.
As an SEO professional, bringing leads to a business holds greater significance than simply generating thousands of clicks and impressions.
