SolutionExec is a professional community for leaders across Solution Engineering, Presales, Customer Solutions, and technical go-to-market teams.
Founded by James Kaikis, the platform gives senior solution leaders a space to exchange ideas, build relationships, access practical resources, and participate in executive programming.
NextGrid developed the brand identity and digital foundation for the platform, including its positioning, visual identity, website, event infrastructure, audience systems, and ongoing growth support.
The brand was designed to feel credible, editorial, and contemporary — combining a dark green foundation with warm neutrals, orange accents, and refined typography.

Logo System

The logo combines a geometric symbol with an elegant wordmark, balancing technical expertise with executive credibility.
Clear-space rules, minimum-size guidance, and responsive variations were created for use across digital platforms, events, editorial content, and partner communications.

Color and Typography

The color system uses a deep green primary color supported by warm cream backgrounds, orange accents, muted gold, and terracotta tones.
The typography system pairs Uncut Sans with Behind The Name, balancing clarity and readability with a distinctive editorial voice.

Designing the Digital Platform

NextGrid designed and developed the SolutionExec website in Framer.
The website needed to establish credibility, introduce the community, showcase upcoming programs, publish content, support registrations, and create visibility for sponsors and partners.

The design direction focused on clarity, authority, and restraint for a senior executive audience.

Building the Operating System

Framer — Website, landing pages, forms, and event experiences
Notion — Central contact database and operational source of truth
Mailchimp — Campaigns, invitations, newsletters, and communication
Luma — Event registration and attendee management
Zapier — Connecting forms, databases, events, and email platforms
Clay — Contact enrichment and audience classification
Substack — Content and newsletter ecosystem
Figma — Interface design and workflow planning

Audience Intelligence and Growth

Approximately 410 contacts were enriched and classified through Clay workflows.
The wider ecosystem generated approximately 795 registrations and community signups, including around 85 participants connected to executive programming.
A launch campaign achieved:
74% email open rate
19.7% click-through rate
