Klever Kitten is a stationery and specialty gift brand featuring Klever Kitten and her close friends, Kool Kat and Frisky Feline. The product line deals with topics such as dating, female empowerment, and friendship.

I created the character of Klever Kitten 15+ years ago, inspired by my childhood passion for Hello Kitty. I wanted to have an alternative answer to the people who'd grown out of the Hello Kitty character and her product line. The Klever Kitten look and feel was inspired by mid-century modern graphics from the 50's and 60's.

To showcase and sell the Klever Kitten product line, I wanted a fun website that embodied the Klever Kitten character. I designed a few panels in 2D that were animated in Wix Studio. I also animated select typography and product imagery. I eschewed the typical photographic headshot and created a 2D self-portrait. The chef's kiss was creating a pink paw graphic that served as the website's mouse cursor.

Klever Kitten's website has an Average Session Duration of 8m 3s, which is an unprecedented duration time for any website I've ever designed!

Each Klever Kitten product is designed with the utmost intention. My goal with these products is to treat them like memorable, collectible works. I also want to put a smile on the faces of those who come across Klever Kitten. Because Klever Kitten isn't just a brand—it's a way of life.
