Bird Magazine: The Man Behind the Wings

During Snowbird's 50th Anniversary Season, I had the opportunity to spearhead the creation of the 50th Edition of the Bird Magazine. After countless hours of research and inspiration, I found a story I selfishly couldn't bear to assign to one of our contributors—the story of Ted Nagata: the designer behind Snowbird's iconic wings logo.

Ted and his family graciously welcomed me into their home for this project, allowing me time to interview and photograph him in a space he designed himself while delving into history. His family recently shared with me that this was likely Ted's last public interview, making this opportunity all the more special for me.
