As part of the third year of my Bachelor in Graphic design, a personal project was developed over the course of the third year.
The project focused on branding a new range of cargo bikes offered by Vélo'v in Lyon, France. The branding aims to promote the service and raise awareness of the concept among the general public in order to encourage its daily use.
About the brand
The cargo bike is a special bike designed to carry more loads of a conventional bike. Thanks to its modular design, it can carry payloads similar to those of a car. For this reason, it is seen as a truly modern solution to today's ecological problems.

The project aims to create a striking graphic language to appeal to a wide audience of individuals, especially families and younger populations, while retaining the professional, modern feel - typical of the Vélo'v brand.
The design of the interface also plays an essential role in the project, in order to offer a service that is easy and pleasant to navigate, and to increase customer loyalty rates. The graphic charter has been defined to create a lasting identity that is consistent with that of the parent brand.

The concept of puzzle:
The jigsaw principle was chosen to symbolise the great adaptability of the Vélo'v Cargo to different loads. The concept is that each object transported fits together perfectly like a jigsaw puzzle.

Web Assets
A web page has been developed to enable customers to hire a bike easily, even when on the move without having to install the app.
Above the first version, the basic architecture of the application, and the first tests through a mock-up. Below the final products, that include the graphic identity.

An app has also been created for those who regularly use the service and require a better access to their plan. In this version we will find personalised statistics and better tools to make the trips even easier.
