One major problem the original logo had amongst versatility was scalability. The original logo failed to resonate with the evolving brand identity, which led to challenges in brand recognition and consistency across various platforms.

To address these issues, my task was to redesign the Mshel Homes logo while retaining the essence of the original design to ensure familiarity among existing customers and stakeholders.

The redesign needed to create a scalable, modern, and memorable logo that could seamlessly integrate across various platforms and collaterals (digital platforms, print materials, physical signage, etc). This included maintaining a recognizable visual element, such as the building motif, that would continue to represent the company's real estate focus.

The typography had to be revisited to align with modern design standards of readability, professionalism, and flexibility, for both digital and print applications. This task also involved choosing a cohesive font system and logomark that would reflect Mshel Homes' commitment to quality and innovation as it would like to focus on a broader and more discerning audience.

The new logo addresses the issues of complexity and inconsistency by introducing a minimalist, modern custom-type design that maintains the core identity of the brand. The logomark was carefully crafted Helvetica Hebrew, a bold and timeless typeface that makes readability easier and use flexible.

The building elements from the original logo were simplified and refined into clean, geometric forms, allowing for better scalability and clarity, even at smaller sizes. By adopting a monochromatic color scheme, the new logo emphasizes sophistication and ensures adaptability from billboards, and business cards to app icons.

The primary typefaces, Helvetica Hebrew and Inter, were chosen to bring a balance of timeless elegance and modern clarity to the Mshel Homes logo. Helvetica Hebrew is a refined extension of the classic Helvetica typeface, renowned for its clean lines and exceptional legibility. By using it as the foundation for the logo’s wordmark and logomark, the design embodies reliability, trust, and professionalism—qualities that align seamlessly with Mshel Homes’ values and mission.

Meanwhile, Inter complements the design by adding a contemporary and digital-friendly touch, ensuring the brand remains versatile across print and digital platforms. It conveys simplicity and functionality, making the brand approachable while maintaining a sense of authority.
