Dashform - Webstudio Marketing site Development

The goal of this project was to translate the client's design into a scalable, optimized Webstudio, including animations and interactions (which were among the client's main concerns).

As the solo developer, I was responsible for the high-fidelity design translation of the website into a Webstudio site. My responsibilities included:

Front-End Development: Building the entire site within Webstudio, ensuring high-performance, clean code.

Custom Animations (GSAP and CSS): Crafting animations such as the fade-in animation when in view, the marquee vertical testimonial, and scroll-based animations.

Accessibility & SEO Optimization: Configuring on-page SEO settings, optimizing the site for speed and mobile responsiveness, and implementing mobile-friendly animations.

I began by analyzing the Figma designs provided by the client. We discussed the technical requirements, specifically the need for a scalable structure so the client could build future pages (like "Use Cases" and "About") independently using a standardized system of headers, sections, and containers.

I built the core UI for the four main pages (Landing, Features, Solution, Pricing) within Webstudio. I focused on creating a clean layer hierarchy that balanced Webstudio’s native capabilities with the flexibility needed for custom code.

To meet the client’s request for Apple-style high-end interactions, I integrated GSAP. I implemented a "sticky horizontal scroll" for feature cards and a vertical marquee for testimonials. I used CSS keyframes for above-the-fold elements to ensure zero "flash" during page loads, providing a seamless user experience.

During the feedback loop, we optimized the navigation bar with a backdrop-filter blur and fixed positioning. I also implemented a tab component for the pricing page, allowing the user to toggle between monthly and yearly billing.

I conducted cross-browser and mobile testing. To ensure the client's long-term success, I created a "stagger-parent" class system, allowing them to apply complex animations to new elements simply by adding a class name without writing further code.

High-Performance Marketing Site: A fully responsive, 4-page website built in Webstudio (Landing, Features, Solution, Pricing).

Custom Animation Suite: A bespoke GSAP-powered animation system including horizontal sticky scrolls, staggered entrance effects, and auto-looping marquees.

Scalable Design System: A standardized layout structure (Craft) and a "stagger-parent" animation class system for easy client-side expansion.

Project Documentation & Handover: Final transfer of the Webstudio project clone, including guidance on staging domains, backups, and maintaining the custom GSAP code.
