Editing a Talking-Head Video That Turns One Idea Into a Hook
No b-roll, no visual tricks, just a person, a camera, and an idea about why people sabotage their own transformation before it starts. With nothing to lean on but the message itself, every edit decision had to carry the weight alone.
I paced the cut to let each idea land before moving to the next, timed captions to reinforce the message without cluttering the frame, and trimmed anything that slowed the build toward the core insight. The result proves a talking-head video doesn't need visuals to hook, it needs pacing that respects the idea.
