This project is a creative web platform dedicated to the history and phenomenon of the Crocs brand. The design successfully captures the brand's bold, unconventional character and the vibrant world of Jibbitz. The project's innovative approach was recognized with two major awards: a Design Nominees SITE OF THE DAY and a CSSLight Feature.
Concept and UX Storytelling
The core goal was to transform the brand's polarizing story into an engaging, immersive journey.
Aesthetics: The design is intentionally daring, using a high-contrast palette (vibrant Yellow, Green, Pink, Purple) and bold, uncompromising fonts like Druk Text Wide Cyr to reinforce the brand's rebellious spirit.
Structure: The long-read site structure is organized into clear blocks detailing the brand's origin, impact of the 2008 crisis, viral collaborations, and reasons for its persistent popularity.
Design and Technical Delivery
The user experience is defined by advanced animation, including layered transitions and dynamic scroll effects, creating a deep sense of immersion. The final design was executed as a fully adaptive, fluid (autoscale) layout to ensure a flawless presentation across all desktop sizes, with a simplified mobile version for optimized speed. The project was built on the Tilda no-code platform.
