Project Overview

About Consulting specializes in project management, interim solutions, and competency development within the retail and grocery sectors. Founded by Marika Hjorth, the firm has extensive experience with grocery chains, suppliers, and restaurants, providing deep insights into the unique challenges and opportunities faced by the industry. I was tasked with creating a graphic profile, including a logotype and a comprehensive brand book, along with a fully coded website to enhance their online presence. My Contributions

Branding:

Developed a modern logotype that reflects the firm's commitment to innovation and value creation in the fast-paced retail environment.

Created a detailed brand book outlining visual identity, typography, color schemes, and usage guidelines to ensure consistency across all platforms.

Website Development:

Designed and built a responsive website using React, leveraging Next.js for server-side rendering and optimized performance.

Employed TypeScript for type safety and maintainability, enhancing the development process.

Utilized Tailwind CSS for rapid styling and ensuring a clean, modern aesthetic.

Integrated various animation techniques, including Framer Motion, GSAP, and Locomotive Scroll, to create a dynamic and engaging user experience.

My Process

To kick off the project, I collaborated closely with Marika to understand her vision for About Consulting and the specific needs of their clients in the retail sector. My approach involved thorough market research and user experience design principles to ensure the website was not only visually appealing but also highly functional. The result was a cohesive brand identity and an intuitive website that effectively communicates the firm's expertise.
