The goal is to present Kamara’s work as iconic, inspiring, with clarity, and high production value.

Aim of the Website The site needed to:

Showcase Kamara’s portfolio with strong visual storytelling (film, video, photo campaigns)

Reflect creative sophistication while making it easy for clients to schedule a call

Communicate work breadth (creative direction, branded content, photography) through gallery, service breakdowns, and about sections

Be responsive, fast, and easy for Kamara to maintain or update projects/gallery content.

Gallery heavy design with many high-res images/videos → risk of slow load times / performance issues

Need for design to be cinematic and visually rich, yet structured and navigable so users don’t get lost

Ensuring mobile users get a good experience (images, video layouts, navigation)

Client wanted the site to feel premium, but also with clear calls to action so prospective clients can book easily

Defined visual hierarchy emphasizing big hero image/text (“Where Ideas Become Iconic”) to set tone immediately

Created service sections (Film & Video Production, Photography, Creative Direction, Brand Partnerships) with consistent styling and visuals to reflect variety of work

Built a Gallery section with curated project visuals, arranging them in grid format so users can see breadth at a glance.

Designed About section with storytelling: accomplishments, recognition (Clio, etc.), background, and positioning to build credibility.

Added FAQs and Schedule Your Call CTAs in multiple places to reduce friction and drive contact.

Built in Framer, leveraging its strengths in visuals, layouts, responsive behavior, and built-in content/image handling.

Optimized image loading (compression, lazy load) to ensure gallery images don’t slow initial page load.

Set up responsive breakpoints: ensured video/hero sections, image grids, gallery items reflow well on phones, tablets, desktops.

Created a slim content structure (services, about, gallery, FAQs, contact) so site remains fast, without unnecessary pages.

Integrated scheduling (via Cal.com) for “Schedule Your Call” for a smooth booking workflow.

Ensured clean nav links, anchored sections, smooth scroll behavior for usability.
