Kavaju Resa — From Personal Archive to Creative Playground

Not every project starts with a clear goal. Sometimes, it's enough to just start.

Personal | Kavaju Resa began during a period of personal transition — an uncertain time where making, designing, and coding became my way of moving forward. What started as a private archive of small experiments slowly evolved into something else: a space for sharing tools, ideas, and fragments of the web that might help someone else too.

The Project | Originally prototyped in Framer, Kavaju Resa has evolved into a fully custom, hand-coded digital playground. Built entirely in-house with Vanilla HTML, CSS, and Javascript, it prioritizes performance and simplicity over complex frameworks.
It is a single-page site where everything is visible at a glance — intentionally compact, intentionally simple. Behind the scenes, it connects to a custom Supabase backend, allowing dynamic updates without sacrificing the lightweight nature of the static web.
While there are no multiple pages to navigate, there are delightful details scattered throughout: subtle interactions, thoughtful animations, and even a couple of hidden easter eggs.
It houses:
Web experiments
Reusable components
Client work snapshots
Design/development micro-tools

It’s not a polished portfolio. It’s a living, breathing site that grows as I do — where I share not only the finished things, but the thinking behind them.
If you’re curious about small design details, subtle UX improvements, or building tools that respect time and context — almost entirely dependency-free — you might enjoy a (little) scroll through.
The project represents a shift from "drag-and-drop" to "built-from-scratch," proving that sometimes the best way to understand the web is to write it yourself.
Would love to hear what resonates with you — or even better, what you’d build from it.
