This component was built to overcome the limitations of native Framer forms, especially the lack of multi-step flows, dynamic validation, external API integration, and unrestricted submit logic. The result is a production-ready, fully custom survey system that connects Framer with Supabase and the UK EPC database.

The component validates UK postcodes and queries a Supabase Edge Function to retrieve EPC records. Users can select their address from the results and the component automatically pre-fills key property data.

Framer’s native forms cannot support API lookups, multi-step UX, auto-saving, database updates, or custom calculation logic. This component provides a complete data-collection system tightly integrated with Supabase and external EPC data, all while remaining fully configurable from the Framer canvas.
