My Portfolio Site

It was time for me to make an update to my portfolio site. My previous one felt very templatized so I wanted to create something a little more custom.
For the past 6 years, I was a Staff UX Designer at Qualcomm, working on internal projects that helped improve the employee experience. I was responsible for visual design, prototyping, user research, and usability testing. Unfortunately, I'm wasn't able to share any of that internal work, which is why most of the work is my older stuff.

Homepage

I wanted this to feel very open and airy. The type styles were chosen because I wanted something that felt more handmade and stylized.
The three things I wanted to focus on this page were a featured project, an about me callout, and links to a few additional projects.

Work Landing Page

There are no visuals on the desktop because I wanted to have a fun interaction as the user hovers over a project. An image trail is created as the moves their cursor around the page. The images change depending on where ever the cursor is.

Work Detail Page

I wanted to be very deliberate with making the layout open and easy to digest. There's a lot of interplay with sticky text and image scrolls.

About Page

I went a little more personal with my About Page. It's a two column layout with text about me on the left, and images of places I've taken that appeal to me on the right.
