What Was My Thought Process?

I created a mock marketing campaign for Barbie! ✨
For this project, I tried to stay in alignment with Barbie’s core message of empowering girls to be anything they want.
While the 2023 Barbie movie focused on self-discovery, my campaign takes a slightly different angle.
I aimed to promote:
✨ internal empowerment and
✨ self-love targeted towards young girls.
Even though self-love is popular now, many girls aged 7-14 aren’t watching those videos.
But they love dolls and sparkle, making Barbie the perfect medium to convey this message.

What Marketing Tactics and Strategies Did I Come Up With?

For this campaign, I dove deeper into the various marketing tactics Barbie could use to promote the new campaign.
I didn't just stick to social media marketing because there are a zillion other creative ways we could promote our campaign.
I’ve listed a few of them like affirmation cards, a Barbie-themed van, virtual workshops, journals, etc.
It was honestly so fun to come up with these ideas and design the carousels! 🙌
I also tried to stay on brand as much as possible with the designs. ✨
