ClassRep is an education resource application designed to help students and teachers organize, discover, and share learning materials in one centralized platform. The project covered end-to-end product design, information architecture, and full-stack development.
The Challenge
Educational resources are scattered across drives, email threads, LMS platforms, and messaging apps. Students waste time hunting for materials, and teachers lack a simple way to distribute and organize resources by class, topic, or semester. ClassRep was built to solve that fragmentation.
What We Built
Resource Library & Organization
A structured content library where teachers can upload, tag, and organize materials by subject, class, and topic. Students browse and search with filters that surface the most relevant resources quickly.
Information Architecture
Designed a clear IA that scales from a single classroom to an entire school. Navigation patterns were tested with wireframes and user flows before visual design began.
Role-Based Access
Different views and permissions for teachers (upload, manage, organize) and students (browse, bookmark, download), keeping the experience clean for each user type.
Responsive Design & Development
Designed in Figma and built in React with a component-based architecture. Fully responsive across desktop, tablet, and mobile.
Tech Stack
Design: Figma
Frontend: React
Backend: JavaScript (Node.js)
