I consulted Alexa Translations on a potential AI and Machine learning-based translation product years before the AI bubble burst. Their main competition, technology-wise, was Google Translations, which did not stand a chance with the nuances of specific dialects and legal and financial sectors. I initiated new service/ product development focusing on AI and machine learning to disrupt the translation market. Researched machine learning and AI implementation to current translation technology. Conducted industry disruption research & strategy. Developed recommendations and project plans to implement new technology. Additionally, I analyzed current translations-project manager production compared to profits. Optimized project management performance and metrics system. Conducted industry analysis. Consulted/ initiated management information systems. Data collection, organization, and analysis. Alexa used this research and tools to develop Alexa AI, the first AI and machine learning translation tool for the legal, financial, and dialectal language markets.
