Gold Street Jewellery, a Dubai gold bullion dealer, needed more than a storefront — they needed a system that could price products in real time against a commodity that moves by the minute. A static price list wasn't an option for a gold business; the site had to stay accurate to the market or the client risked selling below cost or losing trust with buyers.

What I Built A full-stack e-commerce platform from scratch — Next.js on the frontend, Node.js backend, Neon (PostgreSQL) database, hosted on Netlify with the codebase managed through GitHub.

Live Gold Pricing Engine Integrated GoldAPI.io so every product's price updates automatically against the live global gold rate — no manual repricing, no stale listings. Built fallback logic so pricing stays reliable even if the live feed is temporarily unavailable.

Payments Integrated Stripe for secure checkout, with webhook-driven order confirmation so payment status updates automatically without manual reconciliation.

Admin & Operations Backend Built a full admin dashboard so the client can run the business without touching code: product and brand management, order tracking, customer records, and sales reporting — all in one place.
