La Primera is a Spanish olive oil brand that collaborates with small farmers and rural communities. With the team, we built an Admin (B2B) for stakeholders to manage their supply chain. And mobile app (B2C) for the end customer to easily track the process of olive oil they buy.

Users can see info about the oil supply chain process by simply scanning the QR code from the bottle.

The unknown value of the product for customers.

Customers aren’t sure about product quality when buying it the first time.

Users do not understand what blockchain technology has to do with olive oil production quality

Enhance the value of the olive oil product by providing transparency of when it was harvested, how and by whom. Which should result in increasing initial product cost.

Customer can seamlessly follow the records of the supply chain of each bottle on their phones.

1.When the user scans the QR code from the bottle they are moved to this web page looking like a native app. On the first page, Info, users can learn about olive type, check the reviews, sensory, aroma, taste and what food is best to pair chosen oil.

2. On The following page Journey customers will find the supply chain records. Each record can be expanded into a detailed view, e.g. it can be easily found where the olives were harvested, when and even by whom.

3. At last, in About, there is an info about how blockchain technology was leveraged to bring transparency to the user

Icons were important for this project. I created a unique set of icons for La Primera to match their branding and visualise the process.
