Web development and experience design for an organic protein powder that is sustainable and good for the planet

We developed Human Improvement’s website on Shopify with subscription management in Recharge. The site’s primary goal was selling products and sharing clear information about their unique protein powder blend. Their hero ingredient, cricket powder, provides a sustainable base, but can be a barrier to purchase for new customers. We built components and pages on the website to provide ingredient and benefit information to new customers in a lighthearted way.

We also created The Museum of Smoothies – an interactive showcase of the history of smoothies. This provided a fun entryway for users on the site and served as lead generation for the company. After exploring the museum, users were encouraged to browse and share smoothie recipes. Users also exited through the gift shop — with Museum-exclusive merch and the ability to buy the brand products with an intro discount.
