Product Design

When we create a product, from its packaging to its values, it is important to create a coherent universe with the brand. Consistency must also be found in the placement of its products on the market. Here is a sample of my work for a kombucha brand.

Starting point

This brand wants to highlight its Japanese identity while respecting the codes of the Western market. I worked on the whole design of the brand, from brand strategy to the final packaging.

Design

I deliberately tried to work on a clean identity, with few colors and straightforward design. Careful lines and simple typography. I really wanted to honor the purity of Japanese culture by not drowning the products is too much information

On the other hand I brought my personal touch with a little creative kick by working the "KATŌ" logo by hand. Its diagonal placement creates a balance between a wise design and an illusion of randomness. It is the cost of wind that gives all the texture to the final result.

Results

I've always enjoyed working with organized clutter. That's why I created this type of design for social networks and some publishing inspiration that reminds us of billboards on the street. So it allows us to play between our clean and simple product and a more authentic and natural brand image.

PERSONAL TIPS : When we design a product or work on a Product focused brand, we have to think about the right positioning of this product on the market. What is our target audience? What are the ideas we want to convey through our product? What are our values? Are we ethical? Modern? Both? All these questions are essential to the proper construction of a brand and a product. The whole process prior to the creation of the product is essential and when done correctly allows for a better success for the products.
