Gaïa Gold — Shopify Store for a UAE Fine Jewellery Brand

Project Overview
Gaïa Gold sells contemporary 18K gold jewellery in the UAE: necklaces, earrings, bracelets and rings, plus personalised Arabic and English name pieces. I designed and built their Shopify storefront: homepage, category navigation, personalised jewellery section, product pages and mobile experience.
The Challenge & My Role
Fine jewellery is a high-trust purchase. Shoppers want to see the karat, weight and finish, know delivery is quick, and have easy ways to pay. The store also needed to showcase made-to-order name jewellery alongside ready-to-buy pieces. I handled design and development: layout, typography, theme customisation and checkout experience.
The personalised creations section: Arabic and English names in 18K gold, with a “Request a Quote” flow.
The Process
I kept the design quiet and luxurious: a soft palette in the brand’s blue, generous white space and elegant serif headings, so the jewellery photography does the selling. Shop-by-category tiles give quick paths into necklaces, earrings, bracelets and rings.
Shop by category: four lifestyle tiles leading into each collection.
Product page: a spec table (karat, weight, gold colour), express checkout and 0%-interest instalments.
The Build
The theme was customised with category navigation, a personalised jewellery section with quote requests, product spec tables, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Tamara instalments, a UAE delivery announcement bar and WhatsApp support, all fully responsive.

The Outcome
Gaïa Gold has an elegant, trust-building storefront that presents fine jewellery with the detail shoppers expect and makes personalised orders easy to start.
