Churchwin is a cosmetic company in West Africa, Ghana that produces cosmetic products like soap and creams for the skin.

I was tasked to design a label that presented the product as affordable but classic. The product was to appeal to the class of audience that cherish their skin routine but like to move on a low budget.

This packaging solution was designed to reflect the indigenous origin of the raw materials used and the cherised women who work around the clock to prepare these raw materials into finished products.

The choice of the earthy color palette is a reference of the color of the shea nut, the black contrast ties in the classic look and feel into the label.

The pattern work is a reflection of indeginous housing infrastructure in the Northern part of Ghana where Shea nuts are on abundance. This signifies that section of Ghana is indeed the home of the shea tree.
