Open is a platform that helps companies build AI copilots for customer support. These copilots integrate directly into support workflows, understand context, retrieve data and respond with accuracy — helping teams resolve tickets faster and more efficiently, without the need for complex setups.

We had previously worked with Open on earlier iterations of their product. When they rebranded from OpenCopilot to Open, they were shifting from a broad technical solution to a clearly defined customer support use case. The tech foundation was strong, but the product needed structure, direction and clarity. Our role was to help take the founder’s vision from 0 to 1 — turning it into a focused, usable product ready to be launched and adopted.

Over the course of a focused one-month sprint, we partnered closely with the founder to shape the direction of the product. We were involved end-to-end: defining structure, simplifying user flows and designing every screen from scratch. Our work went beyond just UI — we helped clarify the product’s positioning, identified the core workflows that mattered most, and brought it all together into a cohesive, usable experience.

The result was a fully designed product that felt clear, modern and ready for market. The new platform communicated its value more effectively, supported key customer use cases and was easier to navigate from the first interaction. Shortly after launch, the team secured additional funding and began onboarding clients, including well-known names like Mollie and Securly.

Beyond the product itself, the collaboration was a true partnership. We worked closely with the founder throughout, aligned quickly, and built a strong working relationship that made the entire process fast, focused and genuinely enjoyable. The team was very happy with the outcome and the way we helped bring their vision to life.
