Darren Hardy’s team brought me in to design a landing page for a new AI workshop aimed at small business owners. The goal was simple: get more signups, grow the email list, and warm people up for higher-ticket offers.
Their existing pages felt messy, outdated, and not aligned with the quality of Darren’s brand, so this was also a chance to raise the bar visually.

The Challenge
This was a new offer, so there wasn’t a previous version to rebuild. But based on the rest of their funnel pages, we knew what needed fixing: clarity, cohesion, and a more modern feel that matched the promise of an AI workshop.
The audience was small business owners who want to use AI but feel overwhelmed by it. The design had to make the workshop feel simple, useful, and approachable.
Approach
I started with the messaging doc from their copy team. I reshaped parts of it, strengthened the flow, and added conversion pieces that were missing, like a quote from a well-known tech leader and a clearer structure for the benefits.
Before designing, I looked at their buyer persona, objections, and what typically stops them from signing up. The emotional angle mattered here. I sourced imagery created with AI that reflected the day-to-day reality of small business owners so they could see themselves in the page.
Design Decisions
The hero section needed to be clear, direct, and fast to understand. I used the gold gradient CTA because it is easy to spot and feels inviting.
I gave the video its own full section because Darren sells incredibly well on video. Making the video big and central increases engagement and time on page.
To keep people scrolling, I switched layouts throughout the page. This makes the page feel more alive and keeps attention high.
I also added credibility elements like logos, a stronger About section, and a clean layout that feels more “premium Darren” instead of the old outdated style.

Results
The team reported back, saying that the page performed well. Signups were strong, and the design helped position Darren as someone leading the AI conversation specifically for small business owners.
The feedback from the team was very positive, and this design direction influenced other pages that followed.
Reflection
I am proud of how clean and modern the page feels, and how the switching sections keep people engaged. If I improved it today, I would explore switching up the hero section, and adding a testimonial to increase trust even more.
