At Inversiones Educa SAC, a leading educational holding company in Peru with three major educational institutions, I contributed as a Data Strategist in the product development of two SaaS platforms aimed at reducing student dropout rates and enhancing student performance. These platforms were initially acquired from two Colombian companies, serving as our initial MVPs. We employed statistical techniques and analytics in bi-weekly sprints to conduct experiments. The outcomes of these experiments were crucial for pivoting the platforms, fine-tuning functional and UX aspects. This iterative process involved establishing a data pipeline covering data ingestion (from around twenty sources), transformation, preparation, and analysis using Power BI and Python. The end result was user satisfaction exceeding 90% and rapid adoption of the platforms by the target audience.
