Capturing the perfect Logo Design for Solaris Photography

Solaris Photography, a creative photography studio, aimed at showcasing the beauty of everyday moments, and also the rare moments through their lens wanted a new logo design and visual system.

The goal for this design was to Increase their CTR and create a logo that was memorable and could catch the viewers' eye in a short time span.

I designed a logo that did just that, the new simple and modern logo is easily recognizable, memorable and eye catching. It has the depth to convey Solaris's brand story.

Creating an eye catching logo that works great as a hook in todays time of such short attention span.

Enforcing the meaning behind Solaris name through the design.

Before we got started, it was crucial that I knew the brand.

With the help of keywords and adjectives that described the brand's message, I now had guide which had helped me guide the brand towards their goals.

I researched the and expanded the info I had till now.

Looking into concepts and psychological signals that I could use to target Solaris's audience.

After extensive research, I found the perfect solution that encapsulated all problems and solved them with one concept.

The concept was combining the camera lens with a solar eclipse.

The logo didn't just look pretty, but added depth to the logo that we rarely see, just like Solaris Brand Identity of finding rarity within normality.

The design incorporates subconscious signals using Circular shape to represent perfection and positivity, and a modern LogoType to signify elegance.

Combining solar eclipse with camera lens also works perfectly in this case because the star shape can be seen as solar flare and camera flash at the same time.

Solar eclipse also signifies rarity and using this as a mark for Solaris means that Solaris will be there to capture such rare moments.

I chose a very minimal color palette for Solaris because this shade of black and white represents the class, elegance, simplicity and the light. This is also an exclusive color choices which makes the brand standout.
